Michelle, is our other incredible hygienist who joined our team in the fall of 2018 with 25 years of prior experience. She has made an incredible impact on our team and continues to bring positive energy both in the office and at community events.
“I chose to go into dentistry because of my own experience as a child. I was afraid and they had an assistant who would hold my hand and get me through my procedure. Then after working as an assistant in a general practice, I realized how many adults were uncomfortable because of their childhood experience and I thought maybe if I worked with children I could change their views on going to the dentist for the better!”
Michelle grew up in the Midwest and moved to Atlanta upon graduating high school. She attended the Medical College of Georgia where she earned her Bachelor of Science – Dental Hygiene degree. While in college, she met Mike, her husband and they have a daughter, Alexandria, who is presently in Nursing School. When Michelle is not working, she can be found reading, hiking and enjoying time with her family and their cat, Taz.
